#BodyClapBacks for those unexpected weight-related comments

Are you tired of unsolicited and unwelcomed comments on your changing body, but never know what to say?

I’ve been there and done that… so I’ve come up with these responses I call #BodyClapBacks to practice body acceptance.

My 3 top ways of responding are:

1. Being Honest & Shutting it down

“Thanks for noticing, but I’m not planning to change my body”

“I don’t know, I don’t weigh myself”

2. Changing the Convo & Deflecting with another question

“Interesting you’d notice. Anyway, how’s your work and family?”

“Are you planning to go on vacation?”

3. Getting snarky, sassy or funny!

“Nah, I just showered”

“Actually, I got happy”

“Maybe? Who knows… I have better things to do than keeping up with gravity.”
